By supporting this project, FDI aims to assist the farmer in transitioning to agroecological practices. The project is certified by the Low Carbon Label, guaranteeing rigor, traceability, and transparency.<\/p>\n<p>It will <strong>reduce the farm&#8217;s greenhouse gas emissions<\/strong> by 20% compared to its initial balance of <strong>1,928 tCO\u2082eq\/year<\/strong>. Over the five years of the program, 1,941 tons of CO\u2082 equivalent will be avoided.<\/p>\n<p>The precise value of the estimate will be established after verification by an independent auditor and an administrative decision by the Low Carbon Label.<\/p>\n\n                        <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n<\/div>\n    <div class=\"container\">\n        <div class=\"row\">\n\n\n\n\n<div class=\"col-12 heading\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How does CO\u2082<\/strong> equivalent tonnage financing work?<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"col-12 paragraph\">\n<p>Contributing to global carbon neutrality involves not only reducing your company&#8217;s own emissions, but also financing projects that reduce greenhouse gas emissions or sequester carbon in a sustainable manner.<br>In concrete terms, a company can support a certified project\u2014such as Tanguy Herreman&#8217;s\u2014by financing a certain volume of CO\u2082 equivalent tons (tCO\u2082eq).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"col-12 paragraph\">\n<p>Each carbon credit corresponds to the reduction or sequestration of one ton of carbon dioxide compared to a baseline scenario, calculated according to a rigorous methodology validated by the Low Carbon Label.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"col-12 paragraph\">\n<p>Financing these tons enables farmers to implement more sustainable practices (such as reducing tillage or using organic fertilizers) while ensuring traceability and independent verification of results.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"col-12 paragraph\">\n<p>The aim is not to offset their own emissions, but to actively contribute to concrete transition actions in the regions.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"container\">\n    <div class=\"row mediaright media_txt\">\n        <div class=\"col-12 col-lg-6 order-1 order-lg-2 text-center text-lg-end\">\n            <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fdi-access.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/251107_IMAGES-ARTICLES_ReSoil_6.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"img-fluid\">        <\/div>\n        <div class=\"col-12 col-lg-6 order-2 order-lg-1 d-flex align-items-center\">\n            <div class=\"txt_content\">\n            <h2><strong>Measurable impacts<\/strong> on natural resources<\/h2>\n<p>In addition to reducing greenhouse gas emissions, FDI-supported project improves soil, water, and agricultural input management:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Water quality:<\/strong> 8% reduction in nitrates, limiting green algae pollution;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Air quality:<\/strong> 36% reduction in ammonia emissions from nitrogen fertilizers;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Soil erosion:<\/strong> 51% reduction, thanks to cover crops and reduced tillage;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Phosphorus consumption:<\/strong> 89% reduction in mineral fertilizers, a non-renewable resource;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Fossil fuel consumption:<\/strong> \u201319%, reducing dependence on fuels<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n                        <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n<\/div>\n    <div class=\"container\">\n        <div class=\"row\">\n\n\n\n\n<div class=\"col-12 heading\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A powerful lever for <strong>biodiversity and local ecosystems<\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"col-12 paragraph\">\n<p>In addition to reducing greenhouse gas emissions, the project supported by FDI generates concrete positive effects on biodiversity and the natural balance of the farm:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"col-12 list\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>+100 ha <\/strong>of pesticide-free land;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>+9 ha<\/strong> of plant cover promoting fauna and flora;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>+13%<\/strong> crop diversity on the farm;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>+12%<\/strong> protein-rich crops, contributing to France&#8217;s protein self-sufficiency;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Preservation of hedges<\/strong> and a natural pond, and <strong>introduction of honey<\/strong> plant species such as phacelia, which are essential for pollinators.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"container\">\n    <div class=\"row medialeft media_txt\">\n        <div class=\"col-12 col-lg-6 order-1  text-center text-lg-end\">\n            <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fdi-access.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/251107_IMAGES-ARTICLES_ReSoil_5.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"img-fluid\">        <\/div>\n        <div class=\"col-12 col-lg-6 order-2  d-flex align-items-center\">\n            <div class=\"txt_content\">\n            <h2>A transparent and <strong>responsible carbon contribution<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>By participating in this project, <strong>FDI does not claim to be carbon neutral<\/strong>.
