DuoDay: a day dedicated to the integration and inclusion of people with disabilities<\/h2>\n<\/div>
\n

On Thursday, November 17, 2022, the fifth edition of the national DuoDay was held throughout France. <\/p>\n<\/div>

\n

DuoDay is an event that allows a person with a disability to spend a day in a professional setting to observe the work of an employee and to participate in their daily tasks. <\/p>\n<\/div>

\n

This event aims to encourage and promote the integration of people with disabilities into the professional world. It is also a good opportunity to fight against prejudice.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In France, more than 12 million people have a disability<\/strong> and have difficulty finding a job.However, 80% of<\/strong> physical and mental disabilities<\/strong> are invisible<\/strong>.<\/p>French Ministry of Agriculture and Food Sovereignty<\/cite><\/blockquote><\/figure>

\n

As part of this initiative, DuoDay allows able-bodied people and\/or volunteers to form a pair with a person with a disability to help them discover their work environment, their activity and their job. <\/p>\n<\/div>

Hosting friendly collaborators for a day <\/h2>\n<\/div>
\n

On the occasion of the 5th national edition of DuoDay, FDI welcomed two disabled people for a day of immersion and discovery.<\/p>\n<\/div>
