More than a conventional exit button, FDI contactless door button provides an increased level of security thanks to its “double cage”, vandal protection and the FDI security protocol. <\/p>\n<\/div>

The contactless output button also provides more modularity in use thanks to its two opening modes, its adaptability to alternating current and continuous currents, and the possibility to inhibit the “contactless” function. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Thanks to its system architecture, FDI contactless door button allows two opening modes: by infrared detection when the user presents his hand in front of the button, contactless, or by mechanical activation of the system when the user presses the button and releases the strike.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

Although “contactless” by definition, the use of the FDI button can switch to the classic button format. A simple switch on the back of the knob can be used to inhibit the infrared function : the button can be used as a stand-alone mechanical output button.

A “double cage<\/strong>” button<\/h2>\n

The FDI contactless door button is equipped with two completely electrically isolated cages<\/strong> : the NO button used to control the push button input of the control unit can never be in direct contact with the NC contact wired in series on the power supply of the breakaway lock.<\/p>\n
