Thus, it allows the use of non-clonable MIFARE Plus\u00ae FDI badges.<\/p>\n<h2><!-- \/wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --><\/h2>\n<p>Therefore, Passan control units do not need to be changed when replacing existing readers.<!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:list-item --><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:list --><\/p>\n\n                        <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n<\/div>\n    <div class=\"container\">\n        <div class=\"row\">\n\n\n<div class=\"col-12 heading\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How does the <strong>interface<\/strong> work?<\/h2>\n<\/div><div class=\"col-12 paragraph\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When changing readers in an access control system, the associated badges can use MIFARE Plus\u00ae technology against MIFARE Classic\u00ae for older readers. <\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"col-12 paragraph\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To enable the management of both technologies, the interface includes a jumper that allows the management of MIFARE Classic\u00ae badges until all residents have the new MIFARE Plus\u00ae badges.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"col-12 paragraph\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After migration, MIFARE Classic\u00ae badges will no longer be managed to ensure the highest level of security. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"container\">\n    <div class=\"row medialeft media_txt\">\n        <div class=\"col-12 col-lg-6 order-1  text-center text-lg-end\">\n            <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fdi-access.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/RESSOURCES_Article_Interface_B2fB3f_2-4-660x660.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"img-fluid\">        <\/div>\n        <div class=\"col-12 col-lg-6 order-2  d-flex align-items-center\">\n            <div class=\"txt_content\">\n            <p><!-- wp:heading --><\/p>\n<h2>How to install the <strong>Interface<\/strong> ?<\/h2>\n<p>The interface can be mounted anywhere between the reader and the control unit. It is best to place it near the power station.
