Vaïna Picot: an exceptional journey from the very beginning

Originally from Guadeloupe, Vaïna discovered watersports at an early age thanks to her family. She started windsurfing at just 7 years old, then trained in IQ Foil before dedicating herself to wingfoil, a discipline in which she now excels. Her rapid progress has allowed her to compete against much more experienced athletes and rise among the best.

Vaïna’s outstanding performances in wingfoil

In 2025, Vaïna achieved exceptional results that showcase her talent and consistency:

  • Vice World Champion in Senior Wingfoil at just 15 years old,

  • Double French Champion in U19 and Senior categories,

  • Winner of the 2025 Wing Challenge, the largest wingfoil competition in the world,

  • Vice World Cup Champion after six international stages (Morocco, Switzerland, Turkey, China, Italy, Brazil),

  • Multiple podiums in IWSA World Cup stages and national championships since 2023.

These achievements have made Vaïna a key reference in her sport and a rising star of French and international wingfoil.
