The various needs in medium-scale collective structures
You need to equip a greater number of doors and/or your need for features means more sophisticated access control. In this case, management is based on Web software where access permissions are written on the keys/passes themselves.
These products also manage event history.
The read/write EASY DOOR product range for managing access
This technology is managed remotely and also offers more configuration possibilities than standalone management. As such, the manager can manage their keys/passes from their home/office without needing to move to take action directly on the controller.
Read/write permissions are recorded directly on the keys/passes. The keys/passes used boast sufficient memory for storing these permissions. Access profiles are saved in each key/pass via an encoder and software.
The free cloud software is accessible from any location with a login and password.
When a key/pass is shown to a reader, the controller reads the permissions inside it, accepts or refuses the key/pass and updates its own memory. The manager can add a key/pass to or delete a key/pass from a controller should they wish to forbid access without ever having to go on site. To do this, the manager just needs to encode a new key/pass, which will update the controller whenever the key/pass is shown to a reader for the first time.
