The interface has been designed to allow the use of 2Smart readers on older Passan control units and thus allow the use of non-clonable Mifare® Plus FDI badges. The Passan control units therefore do not need to be replaced, only the existing readers.
How does it work?
As long as all residents do not yet have the new Mifare® Plus badges, a jumper in the interface allows the Mifare® Classic to be managed as well.
When the migration is carried out, the jumper must be moved into position or the Mifare® Classic is no longer managed so that the security is optimal.
