DuoDay: a day dedicated to the integration and inclusion of people with disabilities
On Thursday, November 17, 2022, the fifth edition of the national DuoDay was held throughout France.
DuoDay is an event that allows a person with a disability to spend a day in a professional setting to observe the work of an employee and to participate in their daily tasks.
This event aims to encourage and promote the integration of people with disabilities into the professional world. It is also a good opportunity to fight against prejudice.
In France, more than 12 million people have a disability and have difficulty finding a job.

However, 80% of physical and mental disabilities are invisible.
As part of this initiative, DuoDay allows able-bodied people and/or volunteers to form a pair with a person with a disability to help them discover their work environment, their activity and their job.
Hosting friendly collaborators for a day
On the occasion of the 5th national edition of DuoDay, FDI welcomed two disabled people for a day of immersion and discovery.
